What We Believe

01

Impact Church persists in our God-given mandate to connect, pursue and build a community that smashes the status quo of what’s possible for and in our lives. We do church differently so that YOU can LIVE differently & remarkably, beyond anyones imagination of what is possible.
Jeremiah 29:13; Mark 16:15; Ephesians 3:20

02

From providing access to community activities for the children of our neighbors in need to incubators for emerging entrepreneurs, Impact intends to fulfill its pledge of being deeply engaged with the East Point and Greater Atlanta communities. We are committed to joining in service at various points on the spectrum of need, to connecting in relevant and tangible ways, and to igniting the processes that help all of us move forward along pathways of progress.
Matthew 25:31-46; John 4:21-24; John 10:14-16

03

Impact continues to repeat consistently and successfully how we know to do church differently, to redefine ministry by making everything we do relevant in fresh and exciting ways. From radical hospitality to our unboxed lifestyle, we are a soulcial community, holistic and integrated, addressing all parts of our lives. Also, we understand that we are connected to a legacy with a responsibility to the next generation and to multiply our work beyond one additional location.
Proverbs 13:22a; Luke 16:1-13; 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24; Hebrews 13:1-3

04

We are on a journey to provide space for varied styles of worship and community special events. Impact will continue to invest in having a multi-site presence, strengthening Impact on Main’s effect on the community and seeding a third location. Expanding our children’s and youth spaces is also a priority, building to accommodate not only more students, but also to allow for more creative and interactive experiences that will support their educational and personal goals.
Proverbs 22:6; Matthew 28:19-20; Luke 10:1-12; 2 Timothy 3:14-15

05

Baptism is our response of faith and love that deepens our connection to Christ’s involvement in our lives. Through baptism we become a part of the universal Church, join with others on a journey of salvation, and receive new life from God through water and Spirit. In the United Methodist Church, we baptize infants, children and adults via sprinkling, pouring or immersion.
Luke 3:16; John 1:29-33; Ephesians 4:4-6

06

Staggering statistics of our communities viability being below national standards compels us to ask continually, How can we help? Impact is committed to expanding our ministry as we multiply everything that we do well, equipping all people to help transform their lives for remarkable futures, and excelling in our good work as a tangible example that inspires others to do the same. Together we will revitalize our communities.
Micah 6:6-8; Luke 4:18-19; Acts 1:8

07

Impact does church differently simply because too many churches perpetuate the status quo. Being different propels us beyond four walls and a steeple into a stratosphere where anything is absolutely possible. Our distinctive lifestyle attracts relationships with other faith and non-faith-based communities that allow us to affect unimaginable and sustainable change.
Luke 1:37; John 14:12; Philippians 4:13

08

Holistic salvation has always been a cornerstone in our DNA. While our souls are important, we are also concerned about our emotional, mental and physical health and whether we achieve our dreams. Creating a place beyond worshiping and serving, Impact Church provides a vibrant and viable platform for individuals to reach new heights. Living, working and playing together allows all of us to nurture each other and to help sustain connections for generations to come.
Psalm 37:4; Isaiah 55:10; Jeremiah 29:11; 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24; Hebrews 10:24-25
