As we hang out with Jesus, we realize all the amazing things he has done for us. We have to keep these things in our memory bank so we can be encouraged to continue through life in the midst of its ups and downs. Sometimes all we have are our memories. Sometimes our faith in what God will do is strengthened by what God has already done. God has always been at work. He has been at work in our past. He is at work right now. And he will be at work in our lives to come. So let's be encouraged by the memories.
