8am SundayWorship Experience: "Whose Kids Are These?"
As believers in the One true God and followers of Christ, we can look to biblical examples that highlight the significance of fostering safe spaces for our children to grow and nurture their relationship with Christ. In this scripture, we also discover a key element of the kingdom in Jesus' declaration, “God’s kingdom is made up of people like these.” Throughout our lives, we often lose sight of this principle due to the various ups and downs we encounter.
In this sermon, I aim to remind our audience of the call to embrace childlike qualities that Jesus emphasizes as essential to our prayers for heaven here on earth. I will strive to encourage healing by addressing childhood trauma. Finally, I will draw a comparison between the scripture “when I was a child” and the sermon scripture “God's kingdom is made up of these.” I will conclude with the reflection: “Childlike in my pursuit, mature in my application.”
