Worship Experience – February 22, 2026 | Legacy Unerased - Part 4
Title: Remembering Where You Came From Makes You Know Where You Have the Potential to Go
Synopsis: Legacy Unerased: Letting Legacy Lift Us | HBCU Sunday
Today we sit with our legacy in business, our legacy in church, and our legacy in service. Legacy is not something we admire from a distance. It is something we are called to maintain, protect, and build upon.
Joshua 4:6 reminds us that memorial stones were placed so future generations would ask, “What do these stones mean to you?” This Sunday, we remember that our lives are answers to prayers someone else prayed.
Join us for meaningful conversations with leaders whose lives have shaped culture, church, education, and community:
8am – Michael Russell
10am – Rev. Dr. Walter Kimbrough and Dr. Gerald Durley
12pm – Lovette Russell
Legacy speaks. We listen. And then we carry it forward.
Scripture: Joshua 4:6 (NKJV)
6 that this may be a sign among you when your children ask in time to come, saying, ‘What do these stones mean to you?’
Closing Charge:
The stones were placed so someone would ask what they mean. Live in such a way that your life answers that question. You are someone’s future legacy. Build in a way that makes the next generation proud. Let legacy lift you — and let your life lift others.
