Worship Experience – February 22, 2026 | Legacy Unerased : Part 4
Title: Legacy Unerased : Part 4 - Letting Legacy Lift Us
Synopsis: Legacy is not something we admire from a distance. It is something we are called to maintain, protect, and build upon. On HBCU Sunday, we paused to reflect on legacy in business, in church, and in service. We were reminded that the foundations we stand on were built through sacrifice, faith, excellence, and obedience.
Joshua 4:6 tells us that memorial stones were placed so future generations would ask, “What do these stones mean to you?” Our lives are the answer to that question. We are living proof of prayers that were prayed, doors that were opened, and sacrifices that were made before we arrived. Through meaningful conversations with leaders who have shaped culture, church, education, and community, we were challenged not just to honor legacy — but to carry it forward. Legacy speaks. We listen. Then we build.
Scripture: Joshua 4:6 (NKJV)
“That this may be a sign among you when your children ask in time to come, saying, ‘What do these stones mean to you?’”
Closing Charge:
The stones were placed so someone would ask what they mean.
Live in such a way that your life answers that question. You are someone’s future legacy. Build in a way that makes the next generation proud. Let legacy lift you — and let your life lift others.
